Winona International Dancers

(International folk dancing every Monday evening since 1980)

  1. The group meets for dance sessions Monday evening, 7:30 pm, each week at the Valencia Arts Center (see map here or below) on the St. Teresa campus of Saint Mary's University, Winona, MN.
  2. Sessions are open to the public--no previous dance training is required.
  3. The annual membership fee is $10 if you wish to join the group but membership is not required..
  4. Non-members are asked to contribute $3 at each session.  Members contribute $2.  (The fees are used to help pay the cost of renting the dance facilities.)
  5. In order to keep the dance floor clean and in good condition, all participants are asked not to wear their street shoes on the dance floor.  Just bring a pair of shoes for dancing with you.
  6. Every second Monday of the month is the designated party night when the birthdays for that month will be celebrated with food and drink as well as dance.
  7. Come dance traditional dances from countries all around the world.  For more information contact Barb DuFresne, bnbdufresne"at"charter.net,  or Sue O'Brien, sueob1"at"gmail.com
