WINONA  RIVERTOWN  LIONS  CLUB

DECEMBER 2003 NEWSLETTER

Message from your  club President

reetings:

I am late this month getting my letter written. Wanted to report on the Diabetic Screening
that was done November 15th. The screening took place at the Tandesky Center at the
South East Technical State College. Sandy Lubinski & I checked blood sugars as Sue
Nielson helped check people in. It was a very worthwhile & fun experience. Many of our
fellow Lions were working there also assisting with helping people through the process
of testing & seminars. We were also helped by two of the Lab Techs from the Winona
Clinic. Their help was greatly appreciated.

Coming up at our November meeting is our visit from the District Governor Roy Larson.
Be sure & attend. We will be serving hors d’oeuvoures & desserts. It should be a fun &
informative meeting.

In December we will be having our Christmas party. It will be December 8th. More
information at the meeting. See you there.

Jenny
