JULY 2004 NEWSLETTER
HELLO LIONS:
How's your summer going? I hope you've been able to get out and participate
in some of
the local celebrations or spend some quality
time with your family and friends. I had a chance to
attend my cousins wedding over the Fourth of
July in Watertown,WI. So we got to see lots of
relatives-some that we have not seen for years-so
that was fun.
Again, I want to welcome all the new Board Members. I'm looking forward
to working with
you this next year.
Lion Arlene had me sign a " gambling form" July 7th - so our raffle tickets
should be
coming soon. SELL-SELL-SELL. Our annual July
Potluck Picnic (meal at 6:30p.m.) will be held
at Lion Ginny Motl's home on Monday July 26.
Both the Board and Regular meeting on the same
evening. Come and enjoy all the delicious food,
SURPRIZES and weather permitting maybe
even a pontoon boat ride. Lion Arlene has also
been busy arranging for a dynamic motivational
speaker for our August 23rd meeting. I hope everyone's
able to attend these fun events-if you
need a ride please call me at 687-3310.
Our next Lions newsletter will be in September because our news editors
Mel and Mary
will be spending the next month in Canada and
Alaska. We wish you lots of good luck, fun and
enjoyment. We will all look forward to seeing
your beautiful pictures.
I will have the 2004-05 Committee sign-up sheet at our picnic - be thinking
about what
projects you would like to work on.
Yours in LIONISM,
Sandy Lubinski
