HI FELLOW LIONS:

Wow is the month of October shaping up to be full of activities. The first of which is
WHITE CANE DAY on Sat. Oct. 2. Also, we've already had a couple of cool evenings, so you
know what that means, fall is just around the corner and one of our clubs BIGGEST
FUNDRAISERS - THE SPAGHETTI DINNER - Tues. OCT. 19. Other happenings this month are
Thanksgiving for Vision, Diabetes Expo. and 5M1 Lions Fall Leadership Forum. I will share more
details on all of these events at our Sept. 27 meeting. Hope your planning on attending.
A BIG THANK YOU to all for selling raffle tickets. Special thanks goes out to Lion
Arlene's sister Alice who sold 160 tickets. Profits were donated to Volunteer Services and the
Dan Corcoran House.
Reminder to the Spaghetti Dinner Committee - we will be meeting following the meeting
on 9/27. Be thinking about where you want to donate the profits.
Do you remember who Lion Kathy McGuire made the Mystery Lion for August? If so, that
probably increases your chances of getting the Magnifying Glass for September. GOOD LUCK!
Yours in LIONISM, Pres. Sandy Lubinski
