FEBRUARY 2005 NEWSLETTER
Calendar of events
Hi Fellow LIONS:
It’s time for another newsletter already, time sure fly’s
by when you’re having fun.
The thank you notes are coming in from the donations
we gave in the PARADE of GREEN at Midwinter. Three of our club members
attended, Lions Maureen G., Susan N. and I. We will share our experiences
with you on Monday, February 28th at the regular meeting.
How is everyone doing selling their Bread Bowl Supper
tickets? I hope it is going well since we just depleted our treasury.
If Lion Maureen or Lion Jenny haven’t contacted you yet,
they will be shortly as they prepare our 2005-2006 slate of officers. I
hope you are able to become a Lions board member and gain some personal
satisfaction from serving.
We have another Zone meeting scheduled for Tuesday March
8th at the Kellogg American Legion Hall – social is at 6pm with a $12.00
pork chop dinner served at 6:30pm. We’ll make some car pooling plans Feb.
28th.
We should all be thinking about 5 acquaintances or prospective
Lions members we would like to invite to our April 25th membership Potluck.
I’m sure our Bread Bowl Supper chair Lion Julie Munson
will have her jobs list ready for us to sign up. Also, a reminder that
we all need to bring a dessert or two on Tuesday March 22nd – the first
day of Spring.
So, lets all think SPRING!
Yours in LIONISM,
Pres. Sandy L.
