MARCH 2005 NEWSLETTER
Calendar of events
HI FELLOW LIONS,
Well, I guess Mother
Nature decided, it was our turn to get dumped on this time. But, now we’ve
had enough, lets hope for some spring sunshine to melt it all.
By the time this newsletter
reaches you, we will probably be tallying our profits from the Breadbowl
Supper and you will be putting your feet up for some well earned rest after
all your hard work. Thank you for your participation.
For those of you who
where unable to attend our February 28TH meeting – a motion was made to
schedule our Board meetings on the same evening as our Regular meetings
– instead of holding two separate meetings every month. The Board will
meet one hour before our Regular meeting at Grace Pres. Church and April
25th will be the first month that this will occur.
Remember to bring your
Prospective Members list so we can invite them to our Membership Potluck
in April. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to install some new members at
our June Banquet. Let’s all think positive.
I would like to encourage
the 2005-2006 Board members to attend the Officers School of Instruction
on Monday, May 16th at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Rochester, especially
if you have never attended.
An All City LIONS Club
Breakfast has been scheduled for Sunday May 1st at the Elks Club – with
the profits being designated for the low vision machine “ Merlin “. I will
share more details with you at our March meeting.
HAPPY EASTER!
