Hello Everyone-
I hope everyone is enjoying the snow we received.  I have so much to talk
about I hope I remember it all.  I was asked if we wanted to do another all
city breakfast.  Who do we want the money to go to.  "probably not the
library, since we did two already.  Mr. Bechwater said"  I said I would
bring it to the club.
Deb, Jenny, Maureen, Diane, Dorothy, Marie need to stay after the meeting to
discuss the soup supper.  Most had been done already but we need to shore
things up some.  also, we have passed out many tickets already.  IF you have
not gotten your tickets call Maureen or you will be getting them on the
22nd.  Posters will be ready at that time also.
The all city meeting went very well.  DG Jack Krage is looking for folks to
help man the hospitality room during midwinter.  I plan and helping with
this.  Do anyone else want to eat and drink for a couple of hours?  Friday
and Saturday night? All we have to do is make sure the food and drinks at
full and pick up used glasses and napkins. Please think about it and let me
or Jack know.  ALSO, you must sign up for midwinter by Sat. if you want to
pay less!!!!!!  the price goes up after the 20th!!!!!  Let me know if you do
not have a form and want to attend.  Jack really wants a good showing since
it is in our backyard!
I think that is it for now.  I hope everyone can attend our meeting on the 22nd!
Remember to continue using your smarttown card!  The more we make on that
the less we have to sell tickets for!!  :-)  :-)

have given $500.
Camp Winnebago-request for a donation to silent
auction 2/3/07.
Rock Solid-request for year-end donation.
Fantasy of Trees-thank you for the donation.
Hearing and Service Dogs of MN-request for donation.
Peace Poster-emails

OLD BUSINESS
-Peace Poster Judging
-Mid Winter- First weekend in February. More
information to come.

NEW BUSINESS
-Camp Winnebago Silent Auction Donation- Discussion to
donate a $30-$40 basket of salami, cheese, and beer.
Maureen will donate the basket. Marie will purchase
the beer. Grace made the motion, Maureen seconded.
Motion carried.
-Winona Lions Clubs Annual Joint Meeting 1-11-07.
Rivertown Lions is hosting. Maureen will be in charge
of details. Let Tracy know by 1-4-07 if attending.
-Smart Town amount $46.35

ADJOURNMENT

The Lions Maureen, Deb, and Pat served a delicious
dinner. A donation and re-gift exchange was held. All
who attended enjoyed conversation and merriment. Thank
you to the Christmas Committee.

Dues are due. $72 per year. Make arrangements with the treasurer.
