hope everyone had a relaxing Christmas like I did. It's
always nice to
get away for a few days!
We are sending this newsletter out a little early due to the all city
meeting on the 10th. I have not received ANY information on this
however. Talked to President Perrin of the Noon Club. Yes,
they are
hosting it and they will be sending info out soon, he said that two
weeks ago.
I did receive a letter about going up to the cities this next year to
see the eye bank. I filled out the post card for spring and fall.
Spring being the first choice (4-5-08) and fall (9-13-08) the second.
I
put 15 people down as we can ask other clubs to go with us if we need
to. IF we get a letter saying they picked us, we have to send
$10 per
person for deposit to go. I will let everyone know if and when we get
another letter.
We are helping making blankets for project compass. We got our
name in
the brochure. It will be held feb. 6th at 6:30 to 8:30 at Winona
Middle
School room 240. So, anyone who is interested, we will be going to
Rochester 1-18-07 to buy fabric. If it snows and we don’t want
to go
then we will go the 25th. Helen has registration cut off on the
23rd.
We can always buy more at Walmart here in town.
Oh, don,t forget to bring CHANGE for our next meeting. We don,t
need a
raffle as the DG will be bring his pie.
Have a good New Years Eve!
President Tracy Braaten
PS I plan on bring 15 of those ceramic wreaths next year to our
party!
