 <description>&lt;h3&gt;High Penetration&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Cable&#039;s penetration nationally has risen over the past several years to a 1997 high of 69%. In our markets where entertainment options are limited, it is not uncommon to see penetration even higher. Winona &#039;s cable penetration is almost 90%! This higher penetration means considerably more viewers on basic cable channels. HBC has 80% of the Winona and area viewers (approximately 32,000), including all dormitory rooms at Winona State and Saint Mary&#039;s Universities (3,800).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Advertising Where it Works&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is no secret that cable has changed the viewing habits of the public permanently. Think about your own viewing habits. What are the shows that you absolutely could not go with out? Now ask yourself how many of them are cable shows? In addition to Winona&#039;s Channel 25, HBC will insert your ads into highly viewed networks such as ESPN, HGTV, Fox Sports Net, TBS, CNN and more.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Frequency&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Local cable is a frequency medium. HBC&#039;s reasonable rates make it possible for you to purchase multiple spots on different networks thereby increasing your reach as well. This can often be done for the cost of a single broadcast spot. Good commercials aired repeatedly will increase awareness and produce results for you.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;High Commercial Retention&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Local breaks in cable are usually in the program and not at the top and bottom of the hour. This means your spot is in a highly visible position and is less likely to become a victim of channel surfing. This type of positioning will allow your commercial message to be internalized and remembered by the viewer.&lt;/p&gt;
