SMART TOWN ALLIANCE CARD
We are eligible to receive money from the Smart
Town Card program. Cards are available at church. A
listing of the participating businesses is on the
bulletin board with extras available for individuals to
take. All you have to do is present your Smart Town
Card when doing business at any of those
participating and the church will receive a percentage
of the purchase price. Grace Church has received
$69.15 as of the first of April. As members use their
cards more dollars will be generated for the general
budget. The individual using the card will also
receive a percentage of the purchase price. The
information is "stored" and can be viewed on the
inter-net. All money "stored" may be spent at any of
the participating businesses.
You need to check with individual businesses to see
what they offer. Audio equipment, food and drink,
decorating materials, gas, car care, health care, floral
needs, personal care, banking and many others are
part of the Smart Town Alliance Card program.
Check it out. See if you can use some of the services,
use your card and help the church receive extra
dollars.

• Be sure to stop in and look at the nursery, which has a nice
new coat of paint, thanks to the Corporation Committee and
the Grahams. The toys are also in the process of being
refurbished, and soon there will be a wish list posted, so that
you can select something from the list to contribute to the
nursery, if you like. Meanwhile, we are still looking for a
paid nursery attendant We need your help. Let us know if
you have any good leads for us.
• The sign-up list is on the organ for summer music. Be sure
to share your musical gift with the congregation this summer!
• The volunteer list for 2007 is complete (well, except for a
couple of blanks. Problems with the schedule tend to crop up
like dandelions in the spring.) We made some changes to it
recently, so be sure to look it over and mark your calendars.
We have completed the nursery volunteer schedule through
the end of the summer, so those of you involved with that
should look for the schedule to come separately in the mail.
• Finally, Pentecost is May 27. Wear red!
Summer Worship 9:30 a.m.
Begins May 27, Memorial Day through Sept. 2, Labor Day
