THE BASICS

·         Playing Night:  Tuesday’s 7:30pm with a ½ hour grace starting time

·         League Play 9/27/06 through 4/17/07-----Tournament info to be announced

·         $5.00/player = $50/night.  Bar furnishes quarters. For $1 tables: $35 sent to league, $15 to the bar for quarters

·         Team Pool Fees (sponsorship fee of $35 per team) should be paid by the first night of play Sept. 27

·         No Players under the age of 21

·         On round ties, the round point goes to the team with the most wins

·         On tie of total points, each team picks one player to shoot one game, the winner adds 1 point to their team’s total points

·         Teams not getting their money and stats to the secretary by NOON on Fridays will be penalized $5.00

·         Drop off for stats and money will be Jimmy G’s or mail to Jamie at P.O. Box 421, Utica, MN 55979

 

RULES 

1.       Visiting team breaks on the first and third rounds

2.       Making a stripe on the break means you have stripes

3.       Straight 8-ball, call pocket

4.       Hitting the opponents ball or 8-ball first is loss of turn…opponent has option of cue ball in the kitchen or where it lays

5.       A scratch on the 8-ball is a loss of game only if the 8-ball is made.

6.       Team captains decide on problems.  Re-shoot if problems can’t be resolved.

7.       Teams must have 3 players present to start the match.

8.       DO NOT allow a player to shoot more than once in a round to fill an absent players spot.  If a team is short on player(s), the scores for those games are 10 – 0 in favor of the team with a full roster for the evening.

9.       “Is the object ball in or out of the Kitchen?”….if any part of the ball is in the Kitchen…..then the ball is in the Kitchen

10.   An 8-ball on the break is a re-rack---same way, no switch.

11.   10 point game system  (1 point/ball and 3 points/8-ball)

12.   Top Player plays top player for the first game, then second player vs. second player etc.

13.   First time shooters (subs) should be placed last in the line-up

14.   Rotation:  Home team stays and the visiting team rotates up

15.   Traveling team calls home team if weather is bad.  Must be made up within 2 weeks or no points for either team.

16.   Scratch and player has all his or her balls in the kitchen:  Opponent can spot the nearest ball to headstring

17.   NO BALL JUMPING…this is a foul

18.   NO COACHING…this is a foul

19.   For players to be eligible for tournament they must have played a minimum of 3 weeks.
