Had supper at McDonald had a choice to stay at White water SP Prairie
Island or go back home
we Stayed at Prairie Island it was nice and quiet the facilities
wernt open but the electricity was on

Sunny and cool lady and mary went for a walk
Mel took the motor home to tires plus to remount two tires
they put a new motor home battery in the motor home. Mary went home
to take a shower
check on the cat carol came over to give schoom her medicine
while Mary was here.
we at breakfast at McDonald. finally left for Texas at 9:45. drove
all day, stopped at a city park in sheldon Ia.
The bathrooms wernt open but we could dump the motor home and add water.
this park had a good walking path.

temp 43 sunny had to add brake fluid in Columbus NE. camped
@ lovewell SP Kansas
Showers and water were available, It was a large Park meet my
goal of 100000 steps for the week

sunny temp 60.8 ate breakfast in the motor home, on our way to dodge
city KS very windy,
looked around Dodge city a little. stopped at the visitor center.
stopped at gunsmoke campground in dodge city. had a whesern theme nice
park took pictures

cloudy temp 55 spent some money at a gift shop took more pictures
. ate breakfast in the motor home.
pancakes. decided we only had about 500 mile to Dallas so we headed
to liberal KS to see a
aircraft and wizard of OZ museum had a little rain in the PM
camped at west 40 RV Park Shamrock TX.
It was a nice campground but because of all the rain and snow they
had everything was wet and muddy
Some of the camp sites were even flooded. supper in the motor
home,

Sunny and cool temp 54 had breakfast in the motor home on our
way to Dallas. had a leisure drive today,
stopped in tourist center in Wichita falls TX Stayed at campers
paradise in Bowie TX nice people and park.
Paul cooked hamburgers for supper.

sunny temp 62 tonight we will camp in Ceder hill SP camp ground. had
breakfast in motor home
met Jeff at noon near a gas station tiff and timothy were camping
there also.
4/20 - 4/23/2007
we camped at Ceder hills SP- Chris and kids Ashley & tanner &
Tiff and Josh & Timothy were there also
we had three camp sites next to each other we had a good time camping
and hiking Kayaking Shopping and just Visiting.
The weather was perfect. It was an extremely nice Family
Reunion. It was the first time we saw Timothy
and years since we saw Chris and her family. her husben had to
work so he wasent able to be there all the time. I saw a Roadrunner finally..
Josh
invited us to his family for a cook out at his Trailer.

Overcast temp 79 Left Ceder Hill SP about noon. Refilled our Larder
at Walmart before we got on the road.
Stayed the night at Fairfield SP It was a typical fishing park
but it had everything we needed -electricity water- & dumping Station.
had supper
in the motor home.

Heading north Tried to find Jayne Spencer but Cannot make connections.
Stayed at Tyler SP Tyler TX.
Its a beautiful Park. Tall Pines. we had a thunderstorm during
the night. Lady got in bed with us again.
But this time she slept next to the windows or on our feet in
stade of between us on the pillow.

Partly sunny temp 72 Heading for Arkansan We will leave TX today. Drove
all day,
Stayed at Benton AK outside of little rock AK at I30 campground.
Rained in the evening but cleared of before 9 AM Im noticing
it is getting darker sooner than it douse in MN

Ate breakfast at MCDONALD. Drove thru thee Ozarks mountain. it is getting
colder.
It is windy again, so it was stressful for Paul to Drive through the
mountains, but he did a good job.
Stayed at Ozark Trails family campground in Linn Creek MO

sunny temp 65 Ate Breakfast in the motor home. Driving
thru the Ozarks It is very touristy which is expected.
we hope to be in Iowa tonight & home tomorrow Camped at Amana colonies
RV park.
Its a nice campground with large sites. It must be quite new because
the trees Are small.
we ate dinner at the OK yoke in the food was good but too much -Mel
had pork chops- Paul sirloin stake -Mary Roast beef

ate Breakfast in the motor home. went souvenir shopping in amana Headed
home. returned home at 6 PM
