Holiday Greetings fellow Lions:
What a fantastic way to get in the Christmas
Spirit and to have the pleasure of being served such an elegant dinner
at our Lions Christmas Party. Thank You to the committee for doing such
a great job-your hard work certainly paid off and special thanks to Lion
Judy for opening your beautiful home to us. It was an evening to be remembered
and enjoyed by all.
A reminder again, that our January 24th meeting
is a potluck at 6:30pm with Dist. Gov. Julie as our speaker. In early Jan.2005
our membership chair Lion Jullie Levinski, Lion Susan Nielsen and I are
going to look over some of our past years rosters and invite some of our
former members to join us that evening.
Mid-Winter Convention registration forms were
handed out at the Christmas party, if you need a form you can get it off
the internet at < www.lions5m1.org > .If you want the discounts you
will need to mail-in your registration form by Jan.22,2005. I hope many
of you are making plans to attend.
Please note date change for our Bread Bowl
supper, it is now scheduled for Tuesday, March 22,2005. Our committee Chair
Lion Julie Monson and Co-Chair Lion Ginny Motl, will be scheduling a committee
meeting early next year.
Can you believe half of my year is over, all
of you have been such a great group to work with. I have had comments from
other members about how well everyone gets along and how much they are
enjoying being a member of our Lions club. Thank you for being so kind
and understanding, just another reason for being a Lion.
WISHING YOU AND YOURS A BLESSED CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!
Yours in Lionism,
Pres. Sandy Lubinski
