Well, it seems like we just had our meeting. That one week early
makes a difference. It sounds like our

The June banquet will be held June 22 at Grace Presbyterian Church.
It will be catered by Hy Vee. We will
eat at 6:30 pm. Cost: $10.00 each.

OLD BUSINESS
- Bowling for
Big Brother Big Sister, Tracy, Marie, Amy, Pam and Maureen- was fun, raised
close to
$500.00 Total raised was approx $ 30,000
- May 26th is
the school of Instruction in Rochester on May 15th at the Rochester event
center.
NEW BUSINESS
- Ginny will
host the Picnic on July 27th
- We will meet
May 18th due to Memorial day at 6:30
- Budget Committee
met - motion made to accept Julie Monson, second Grace Miner
- Membership
costs have gone up to $81.30 - a motion was made by Ginny Motl to raise
the cost to
club member to $75.00 and the club will make up the rest. Pam
Caldwell seconded. You can pay monthly if
you like
- Officer selections

check to see if we pay every year for an honorary member or just once.

money for one Helen Keller award - the committee is Ginny Motl, Tracy Bratten,

- Swearing in
of the Govenors at the International convention - Tracy is planning on
attending if
anyone else would like to car-pool. The convention dates are 7-7-09
through 7-11-09
- Tracy made
large white canes to use as advertisement for white cane days

Speaker for the night was a Jewelry demostration for our Jewelry fund
raiser by Julie Monson - all order are
due at the May meeting.
