President's Message

Hope everyone has enjoyed this month.  Except for the one week of heat, the summer has been
very pleasant.  Thank you again to Ginny and Dan for sharing their house (and boat) with all of us.
We certainly had a good time.

Thank you to everyone who signed up for committees.  This club is so great because everyone
pitches in and does what they can.  We will have the sign-up sheet at the meeting in case anyone
did not get to choose activities.  Also, remember that dues are due!  I think that we have some
payment plans in case you don't want to pay all at once.

The zone dinner is coming up on September 1st in St. Charles.  White cane days are also in
September, and the ice cream social for Project COMPASS is around the corner.  More about all
at the meeting.  The fall is busy!

Take care and see you on Monday, August 24th.

Maureen
