Services for those over 65 from Winona CO Community Health\Public Nursing,
request for funds from
American Diabetes Association and Junior Achievement
- OLD BUSINESS
- White Cane Days -
suggestion to only stay until noon. Use your discression. If busy
stay until 1:00 if
not leave at noon. Canes worked well It was suggested to make
up a card to hand out to donators that
explains our club and also where the money will go. We
could also do this for the Bread Bowl. Julie L
will do a mock-up. A motion was made by Julie Levinski to send
700.00. Seconded by Sandy Lubinski.
Maureen will find out if we need to specify 50% to Mac Center and 50%
to Eye bank. Next years
committee will look into another location. Possibly one more Quik Trip
or the Farmers Market
- Ice Cream Social
was a success. 125 Kids
- Zone Dinner - Tracy
did a nice job. Should we use the Veterans Center for the Region
Meeting.
- Puppy visit was very
nice
- Scarves - Bring scissors
to November meeting
- Peace Poster - Tracy
has St Matthews. Judging held at the Middle school.
NEW BUSINESS
- Presentation
of the Hearing Foundation Fellowship - to Sandy Lubinski
- Allocation
of funds to the Puppy Program - Pam will send a thank-you card with a 500.00
donation.
Ginny made motion to send 500.00 for new puppy. Second by Marie. Pam
will contact the warden.
- Tracy took
the coupon books to Library - Julie made an insert
- Christmas Party
committee will decide which date to have it on. First or second Monday
in
December.
- Dictionary's
- Sandy Lubinski will pay 15.00 for 10, we will pay 15.00 for 14.
We will donate to
Maplewood kids. Pam made motion. Maureen seconded.
- Is Kathy J
still doing pop tabs?
- Project Compass
would like us to make pillows or afghans again. We will need 4 people.
