11 am  left for michigan- (Mel, Mary, Lady, Paul, Sara(Paul's friend) Sunny and warm
Stopped at Lambeau Field  (home of the Green bay Packers) and took some pictures of the stadium.  camped at J wells Mich state park.

weather sunny and worm in the 70's.  ate lunch @ Mcdonalds. took our time along lake michigan shore.  paul and sara walked out to a
light house at Manistique. high winds at the Mackinaw bridge had to cross at 20 mph with our flashers on. stay that night at Joann spitler's

another nice day Paul's tooth is hurting so we called DR Hemmler in Winona to get a prescription phoned in to Potterville
then we continued on to tawas state park. Nice park, lake on one side and tawas bay on the other.
park oficer came by and confiscated two baskets of firewood we had brought from home. he said they have a bad out break of beattles in ash trees  in the Detroit area and did not want it to spread.  They let us burn one basket.

another nice day a little cooler drove north along lake Huron and stopped at Presque isle  light house. the dron on. several pieces of plywood
tore off a car ahead of us and put a dent in the motor home and the front  hood. it also bent the brake o cover. After repairing the accident we
stopped at P H Hoeft state park (just north of Rogers city).  the sites were wooded and they have not up graded the
sites yet. We drove out of the park and bought more wood at a local.

cooler and partially cloudy. so far the brakes are working fine. Paul and Mel hammed out the hood and reworked the brake reservoir cover.
On our way to the UP. they took our wood again at St.. Ignace. we drove to Van riper state park and bought more wood.

cloudy and cool arrived at the keewenaw peninsula.  had pasties  at Tonie country kitchen in lauriem mi
check in to Ft Wilkins SP at 4 PM we had reservations for Fri.. and sat nite . Lake superior was rough so the boat to the light house was not
running.

another nice day.  the lake is still too rough for the boat to the light house so we will have to wait for our next trip to go.
Lady and I went for many walks thru the fort, to the lake superior shore and the gift house. Paul and Sara went to the fort and the lake Superior Shore. we bought about 7 bundle of wood a $4 each for 4 sticks of wood each.

No wind today. Lake Superior is calm. The boat is running to the light house.  You might have known. we have to go home today.
we spent an hour shopping in Copper Harbor. at the boat harbor gift shop they had nice things, plus everything was on sale.
We started home. we stopped at ottawa national forest visitor center at Watersmeet MI. then continued to merril wi where we always gas up.
then on to Eau Claire, then home at 9PM.
