this game is called "Hero" you must have a least 3 players but the more you
have the better(and the larger area needed) the field is divided into 3
parts(unequally) a large area (box or circle or any shape,box preferably) in
the center of the field(courtyard) with, say 20 yards it around except 1side
which is 40 (Castle edges) and a circle in the back of the 40 side that is 10
feet in diameter. a prisioner is placed in the circle with no weapon. the
gaurds are in the center box and the hero(s)can advance within the castle
bonds. a hero must take a weapon to the prison er, begining at the castle
gate, at which time the prisioner is free to move within tthe castle bonds to
the castle gates(escape). a hero with the prisoners weapon who is shot must
leave the field and the leave weapon where he was shotfor another hero to pick
up. the prisoner can not be shot until he reaches mid-field if he does then he
is captured again and heros must return to first 1/4 of the field gaurds can
shoot into the neutral zone (the 40 yard side) but heros can't shoot at the
guards. the game is won when all heros are eliminated or all the guards are
eliminated or the prisoner escapes
