From: Bill Lehman
Name: Fox and Hound (or Fugitive, Bounty Hunters, Bush Wackers)
Palyers Required: 5 to unlimited
Rules of Play: Between 1 and 5 players (Foxes) are sent out into the
field. They get five minutes to hide. The opposing force (Hounds) may
not watch them go into the field. Foxes can hide anywhere they desire.
After five minutes a Referee starts game. Hounds go and find Foxes.
Straight elimilnation, you get hit your out, even if by your own
teammate. Games last for 20 min. to half hour, or until one team wins.
Tips: Foxes should use a trap. Example one or more players hide while 1
to 2 players move aruond close by and draw Hounds to you. It sounds old
and over done, but I've personally wiped out groups of Newbies and
Experienced Players doing it.
Hounds should just use a firing line of people to sweep the entire
field. Check every square inch of the field (you'll eventualy find the
Foxes). Don't fall for traps, always be leary of players who are just
out in the open, making noise.
Field Conditions: Obviously woods work best. Buildings may also be used
if so available.
