I had two issues hit my doorstep around the same time, so I put these in order of date on the issue.

I recently started writing for Paintball Sports magazine, so I read it more than I have before. (which means about 4 times a month now...) So when I saw an article by Justin Braun called "When Kids Play", I looked at this picture I realised a few things.

PBSports image, look carefully now!

  • A) That's the WRG of '98!
  • B) That's the team I played on.
  • C) Hey, that's me!

Feel free to insert "Interjection" from School House Rock in here...

So where's Comet? Upper right corner, you can barely make out the antlers and ears. Or, click on the pic over here for a "Watergate" style blowup of the image.

And this is the other one. This was taken at the '98 St. Louis Big Game, and I didn't even know it. This is animage from "Paintball Magazine", a newcomer to the scene relativley speaking. From what I remember of the weekend, this was probably taken before the first game. Again, Comet is hard to spot casually. But, hey, There's a deer in there! If you're having troubles, 2nd from the left, the tall guy with the ears behind the ref looking guy.

Action Pursuit Games (APG) contacted me and asked if I'd be intrested in doing an article about my costumes. Lik eI'd say no?

The result was a really nice article that appeared in the June 2000 issue of APG! APG hasn't given me permission to post anything from the magzine, but I'm going to do it anyway and expect a phone call. these are HUGE files, so the easiest solution is to download these two images. I dind't scan the whole article, but I did scan the first 2 pages. Enjoy!
