Objectives

1) Introduce students to the basic (PC) computer technology

2) Learn Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)

3) Use multiple programs to create computer generated design work

4) Import photos and slides to incorporate into design work

5) Create a design portfolio on the WEB

Due Date Policy

All assignments for this class have specific due dates. All assignments are
expected on the assigned day at the beginning of class. I will not accept any
assignments past 5 PM on the due date so please turn in what you have. If
the assignment is not finished by class time, but is turned in finished by 5pm
a penalty will be imposed, but the assignment will be accepted. All written
assignments must be typed (all computer users : the font may no larger than
12 Point, the margins no larger then one (1) inch, and please spell check.)

Attendance Policy

Theatre is an “Collaborative Art Form” that must be shared. Attendance for
this class is mandatory. Several of the projects will be creative pieces of
one form or another by or with your fellow classmates. It is unacceptable to not
share in their work. Each Student will be allowed 2 Unexcused Absences.

After this the following Penalties will Apply.
First Absence 1 Point = 1 point off Final Grade
Second Absence 1 Point + 2 Points = 3 Points off Final Grade
Third Absence 1 Point + 2 Points + 3 Points = 6 Points Off Final Grade Etc..
After 5 absences it will be an additional 5 points per class

Any student who, because of a disabling condition,
may require some special arrangements
in order to meetcourse requirements
should contact the instructor as soon as possible
to make necessary accommodations.
