Jonah Spiten scored a game-high 26 points but was unable to hit a 3-pointer at the end of regulation that had Onalaska Luther coming away with a 73-70 win over Cotter at Gostomski Family Gymnasium on Saturday.
Cotter (2-10) trailed by 10 in the first half but stormed back to make it a two-point game before T.J. Babinec nailed a 3-pointer just before the halftime buzzer to give Luther (4-3) a 37-32 lead at the break.
The Ramblers were again down 10 with 8:25 to play, but once again made a run to make it 72-70 in favor of Luther with 8.1 seconds remaining, but Spiten was unable to tie it up as time expired.
Babinec led Luther with 22 points, while Jake Matzke had 17 and Jarrett Noffitz had 12.
