The Saint Mary’s women’s basketball team will be seeking its sixth consecutive win when it hosts Hamline at SMU Gym tonight on HBC Sports.

SMU (13-4, 7-3 MIAC) have a stellar 5-1 record at the friendly confines, and are led by Molly O’Toole, who is averaging 13.3 points per game, 5.4 rebounds and an impressive 87.2 percent conversion at the free throw line.

Shelby Auseth adds 11.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per, and Emma Schaefer is putting home 9.1 points every time out.

The Cardinals hold the edge in field goal (.415) and free throw (68) percentages, but will have to be wary of three Hamline (9-8, 4-6) players scoring in double digits on a nightly basis. Jordan Sammons scores 22.8, Chelsey Bonsante 14.8 and Chloe Graves 10.9 points per game, but the Pipers have lost three in a row despite a winning record on the road (4-3).

Pregame gets underway at 6:45 with tip-off at 7 p.m. only on TV 25!
