On-deck: SMU volleyball hosts Augsburg

Just five regular season matches remain for the Saint Mary’s volleyball team, a stretch that will begin with a home match against Augsburg on Wednesday live from Saint Mary’s Gym on HBC.

SMU (16-7, 5-1 MIAC) have lost a season-high four consecutive matches after a rough trip to the North Central Invitation in Naperville, Illinois last weekend. Saint Mary’s continues to get fantastic production from Macki Fadness, who leads the team with 264 kills, many of which have been set up by Brittney Hanson (426) and Tayler MacVey (364), who have combined for 790 assists. On the defensive side, Molly Urban paces the Redbirds with 46 blocks, while Lex Krogstad has collected 405 digs, a remarkable 118 more than the next best total, represented by Jenna Sullivan’s 287.
