Chiefs walk off Pine Island in 12 innings

The Winona Chiefs won in walk off fashion Friday night 1-0 in a game that featured an iron man performance on the mound from player/manager Lee Trocinski.

Trocinski pitched 12 strong innings for the hometown team, giving up just six hits and a walk to go along with seven strikeouts.

With the game in a scoreless tie in the bottom of the 12th inning, Luke Buehler made his Chiefs debut a memorable one by delivering a solid single, driving in Jordan Lockren with the game winner.

The next Winona Chiefs television broadcast will be Friday, July 8 when the Chiefs face the Rochester Roadrunners at Gabryck Park. First pitch is at 7:30 pm on HBC TV 25.
