To return to the giant…

It is sadly time to say goodbye to the Cassini Satellite. Cassini was launched back before the turn of the century to study Saturn and its several moons. It took over six years to reach the ringed giant, and since then has revealed brilliant pictures and years’ worth of data. The Satellite is set to sail into the giant itself as it has run out of fuel needed to maintain a proper orbit. This Friday, Cassini will become one with the giant and will be remembered in history as one of the greatest space missions to date.
