Winona, MN – HBC’s new over-the-air Internet service allows Rochester area teleworkers to connect to work from home.  HBC Air provides leading-edge high-speed Internet in rural areas that were previously relegated to dial-up service.

Teleworking requires access to a reliable, high-speed Internet network.  HBC Air’s symmetrical 10 Mbps service has been a successful option for many area teleworkers. Symmetrical service provides equal upload and download capacity.  While many Internet users focus on download speed, many teleworkers require a higher upload speed.

HBC continues to expand the area eligible for HBC Air services, and has made a great effort to bring symmetrical speeds to rural areas.
