Prepare your home or business for HBC’s cutting-edge services!

One of the last stages of construction is connecting a fiber-optic line (“drop”) to your home. A drop can be buried to your home while we are constructing the network. This will be done at no additional cost to you and will prepare your home to receive HBC services as soon as construction is complete.

Please select any below ground structures or systems you have:
Electric Fence:
Sprinkler System:
Propane Line:
Septic System:
Other:
If you selected “Other” add comments:

I am the owner of the above property
and therefore have the authority to sign this form and hereby authorize Hiawatha Broadband Communications, Inc. (HBC)
to bury a necessary fiber-optic line line to my house or business. I understand that I may be required to pay a Drop Burial Charge for drops over 500 feet.

Crews may attach an enclosure to the side of your house during the site spec. If the ground is frozen, the fiber-optic cable may be placed on or above the ground until the ground thaws. HBC will return in the spring to bury the cable below ground. Other conditions may apply. Call office for details.

In most cases, the connection (drop) to your home is free of charge when you subscribe to HBC services. Fiber-optic drops over 500 feet may incur a charge.Â
