Drop Burial Authorization Form

One of the last stages of construction is connecting a fiber-optic line (“drop”) to your home or business. By having the drop buried while construction is underway, your property will be ready to receive HBC services as soon as they become available.

There is no additional cost for drops up to 500 feet. During colder months, a temporary drop may be installed to provide service until ground conditions allow the line to be buried in the spring. Once work is complete, crews will restore minor lawn disturbances by smoothing the soil and adding grass seed.

I also understand that crews may attach an enclosure to the exterior of the home or business during the site specification process.
