Parades, baseball, and municipal band concerts highlight the 2015 Summer Program Schedule released today by HBC TV 25.
Once again this year, HBC TV 25 will be providing live broadcasts of area parades beginning with the Winona Steamboat Days Grande Parade on June 21, 2015. This summer’s schedule features live coverage of parades in 8 communities including Lewiston, Lake City, Wabasha, Red Wing, Goodview, St. Charles, and Kellogg. In addition, there will be a tape-delayed broadcast of Plainview’s Corn-on-the-Cob Days Parade.
Last year’s partial broadcast schedule of Winona Chiefs Baseball has been expanded. This summer, HBC TV 25 is set to cover seven home games live from historic Gabrych Park.
This year marks the Centennial of the Winona Municipal Band. Winona’s band is the oldest, continuous band still performing west of the Mississippi River! The Winona Municipal Band performs each Wednesday at 8:00 pm in the Lake Park Band Shell. HBC TV 25 will air each concert live on Wednesdays with concert replays the following Thursdays and Fridays at 7:00 pm.
There are two new programs in the HBC TV 25 schedule. “Emerging Sports” airs Wednesday at 3:30 PM, Saturday at 2:30 pm, and Sunday at 9:30 pm. “Emerging Sports” features competition in sports such as Curling, Disc Golf, Snow Shoeing, Stand-Up Paddling, Ultimate Frisbee, and more!
“World Tennis” can be seen Thursday at 3:30 PM, Saturday at 6:30 PM and Sunday at 2:30 PM. “World Tennis” is a nationally televised program featuring exclusive interviews and features with the biggest names in tennis.
