Winona, MN – HBC customers now have a new, feature rich tool to help manage their home WiFi networks. Introducing the HBC GigaHome app!
The HBC GigaHome app is designed to give customers control of their home network with the ability to see all network devices, set up basic parental controls and guest networks, change your network name and password, and more! The HBC GigaHome app is compatible with both the GigaHome Gateway and GigaHome Blast routers and is included with your router rental.
Customers with a HBC GigaHome Blast router have access to additional advanced app features with ProtectIQ and ExperienceIQ. ProtectIQ is available at no additional charge and provides network-level security, protecting all devices connected to your home’s WiFi. It monitors incoming traffic and automatically blocks anything that looks suspicious. And it actively terminates data transfers before any malicious data can be delivered to any connected network device.
ExperienceIQ gives you even more control over your network and connected devices allowing you to set screen time limits and block access to inappropriate applications and categories to provide a safer Internet experience for younger children. You can also monitor Internet usage for each device on your network. ExperienceIQ features are available for an additional fee and requires use of a GigaHome Blast router.
