Winona, MN – HBC finished third in the 5th annual WNB Financial Grocery Grab event held Wednesday night at Midtown Foods. The event kicked off Minnesota FoodShare Month and collected food for Winona Volunteer Services Food Shelf.
A total of nine, two-person teams had 90 seconds to race through the aisles and fill two carts with as many groceries as possible with the winner determined by the highest dollar value total.
The event was won by WNB Financial who collected $821.01 of groceries. HBC’s team, consisting of Matt Marek and Colby Quinn, finished third with a total of $754.88. A grand total of $5,060.91 worth of groceries totaling 1,143 pounds was collected.
