When you subscribe to service, HBC will rent to you the equipment necessary to receive services at the current market rate. Using HBC’s equipment will guarantee the best user experience for your subscribed service, prevent unnecessary equipment upgrade costs to you, and allow HBC to more easily troubleshoot if there are any service-related issues.
Upon installation of your HBC service, your installation technician will review all equipment that will be used to provide service to you. This equipment is owned by HBC, and is furnished by HBC for use in connection with the HBC services for which you have subscribed, and for no other purpose.
You will be asked to acknowledge that you have received from HBC, the equipment as discussed. You agree to make no improper use of the equipment and to keep it in good condition, and to return it to HBC promptly upon termination of the service(s) to which you have subscribed. If you fail to return the equipment or return the equipment in damaged condition, you authorize HBC to charge the replacement amount for the equipment to your services account.
