Setting up your HBC Email Address:
- Select File then Add Account.
- Enter your email address then click Connect.
- Select IMAP.
- Use the following settings for the IMAP Account Setting window and click Next when finished:
- Incoming mail
- Server: email.hbci.com
- Port: 993
- Encryption Method: SSL/TLS
- Outgoing mail
- Server: email.hbci.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption Method: STARTTLS
- Incoming mail
- Enter your password and then click Connect.
- You will receive a message that your account has been successfully added. Select Done and your email account is now set up.
Accessing your Settings
- Select File, then Account Settings, then Account Settings again from the drop down menu.
- Double click your email from the list to make edits and then click Change to apply your updates.
-Older editions of Outlook windows might be slightly different but settings will be the same.
